That's an exceptional old buck u got yourself and a great story to go with it and to have the opportunity to hunt with family and good friends ;)! I gotta say I can relate to the part of your story of hunting in the pouring rain excpecially if you meant Forks Washington where u used to hunt!!!! If you were curios it still pours rain here damn near everyday lol! Good story man :)

Thanks everyone for reading. I wouldn't trade this hunt for anything. We are extremely fortunate to have some great hunting opportunities in our own backyard.

Sambo - I'm originally from Port Angeles so I spent plenty of elk and deer seasons out on the West End. I'd probably still be hunting elk out there if I didn't have a bunch of quality elk points burning a hole in my pocket

Yep you know all about the rain out here!! It's really a heartbreaker when Ugo to other places / Eastside and it rains on you like your on the Westside!! If you ever come back this way to elk hunt shoot me a message on here or something always out and about keeping a eye on the elk and deer in the swamps!!! Lol

Ok, who's broadhead is it? :chuckle:

 :yeah:

Curious as to what style/make of broadhead it was???

I've only ever gone bowhunting a couple times so I'm not really an expert on the different broadheads. This was a pretty good-sized fixed blade broadhead without a company's name engraved on it  :dunno:  My Dad threw it in his safe back in PA so I'll have to look into it a little further when I get a chance to see it again. At first glance it looked like a good ole fashioned Muzzy, but after we were able to pry it out of the bone, it didn't have a Muzzy tip or the Muzzy name on it. It was really stuck in there!

Well it's not the most tender venison, but the flavor is good as always.

I was checking the kid from Wenatchee's instagram page and saw that your buck made it on there.

Great buck, congrats.
