Youth turkey help.
« on: March 21, 2017, 11:40:03 AM »
My 9 year old daughter is showing some interest in turkey hunting so I'm planning to take her for the youth season by I have zero experience with turkeys.  Just looking for a general public area where she might be able to hear or see some birds.

Next Thursday 3/30 if you have time come to the Marysville Rifle Club.  I am doing a seminar at 6 pm.  I am also sending you a PM.

Awesome and you may also want to call Aaron Garcia in the Yakima WDFW office.  He has a bunch of mentors looking to take youth out turkey hunting to.   You can drop my name.  Tell me a Rich of best buds.  :chuckle: :chuckle:

How far are you willing to drive? I can give you a few areas. I have some great area both NE and SE. May be tough this year if there is still snow. All the areas I hunt are higher elevation. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.
