My father and I were SELECTED for deer two years in a row now. Got my first muzzleloader deer last year, hoping for a second this year. POINTS for elk.

It's amazing that people with 6+ points aren't drawing MS elk.... I think they should at a few more permits.

What is the process for people that got drawn, but already purchased modern tag? Do we need to call Olympia, or can they swap it out over the counter?

Won't know till next year. 13,000 for deer  and almost 14,000 for elk last year.

Must go to dealer and turn in original tag and purchase multi.

That is why I wish you had to put up the money when you apply

Alot of states do that but why this isn't a thing in WA yet is beyond me. Other than the WDFW may not get as much money from applications. Oh ya, nevermind. That's 100% the reason.

Exactly.  WDFW has one priority that overrides everything else.  💰
