It's hard enough finding any b tail shed let alone a stray elk

Where I hunt mule deer "there are no elk". However, several years ago a guy found a matched set from a 6x6 bull. About ten years before that someone I know saw a bull in the area. Those elk had a lot farther to go. One of the places I hunt blacktail "there are no elk". Except every once in awhile someone gets one on their trail camera. My point is I think that a antler that looks exactly like an elk antler is probably more likely to be an elk antler than some weird, once in a lifetime freak unicorn blacktail deer antler. Especially since there are a lot of elk in pierce county. But I guess I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

Unless you're on the peninsula(?), odds seem much better it's from an elk. If so, then maybe it could be that freaky BT.
