Vortex Razor HDLH 2-10x40 on my Kimber Ascent in .280AI
Luepold VXIII 2-8x28 on my Savage Lightweight Hunter in 7mm-08

One reoccurring theme in this thread is that nobody uses cheap scopes...there's a reason for that!

I started out with cheaper scopes in my youth until I looked through friends rifles with better scopes at dusk and saw the huge difference quality scopes can provide for light and clarity.  And made the switch to higher quality.

Nikon Prostaff 5 2.5-10x40mm

I'm intrigued that I'm the first to chime in with a Nikon scope.  I would have thought there'd be more of us out there?

Vortex Viper 6.5x20 x 44, compensating for bad eyes.  A bit heavy, may have chosen something different if I had a dedicated backcountry rifle.

Another nod to the Leupold VX6 3-18
If you've ever had a wild game roast in your airport carry-on, you might be a redneck.
