Sadly I didn't draw a spring tag this year, but bears are moving around out on the coast.  Saw this guy a few days ago, clear sunny day around 2:00 pm.

I have a tag for the coast. What unit was that bear in?  I've been waiting to go, already done some day trips. But it looks like it's time.

That bear was close to Copalis but not quite there haha. This was the third bear I saw that day.  Just from experience the bears out here love warm and sunny afternoons.   :twocents:

I have been hitting Copalis pretty hard.  Haven't seen anything yet.  Heading out again next week.  Maybe then.

Activity should pick up a bunch by then. With some warm weather some tags will be getting punched.

Thanks. It was a long night and being mothers day it won't pan out today, my phone camera bit the dust but thankfully I had my d800 along so after I get some time I'll do some pics and details.
