I know a very good Hunter who's son drew last year. They hunted everyday from dark til dark never saw a bull

What tag did they have? The quality tags are not that good because the trees have the leaves on and you can't see down the rows very far.

I was on there last year. Lots of bulls with a few maybe 320 at best. Not much of a hunt driving around looking down tree rows gets old in a hurry.. Get permission prior to applying as said..

Buddy shot a 350 bull in archery season, opening day last year. But you need to get permission before you apply. The email address is in the hunting regulation. They will not allow cow hunts.

I have heard that the tree farm has been sold.  The elk hunting area is getting smaller as they are harvesting the trees that are currently planted.  The new owners are not planning on using the land for trees.  As the mature trees are being harvested, new trees are not being planted.  This is just what I have heard.  Anyone else hear anything on this to confirm this rumor or to debunk it???  I know they are still allowing hunting this year and yes, you do have to get permission before you apply or you will be out of luck.

They do have cow hunts in the tree farm or at least they did in 2015.

I also heard that it has been sold and will be circles and no more trees. My guess is the Nov. and Dec. tags would be gone once the trees are gone because they are there because of the damage the elk do to the trees.

When you google it only the Boardman farm comes up when talking about being sold.

I heard the Boardman tree farm had sold but hadn't heard about the Burbank one.

Another friend emailed the tree farm to get permission to apply for bull tags. Was told he could not get permission to cow hunt the tree farm. He got permission for bull tags.

Maybe I got my tree farms messed up.  Maybe it is Boardman and not Burbank.  I know whatever one it was has beem purchased by the Mormon church and will be made into circles.

Boardman tree farm or Greenwood Resources was bought by AgriNorthwest. I believe AgriNorthwest is owned/affiliated with  the mormon church. A lot of it has already been converted to pivots. I dont belive it has anything to do with the burbank tree farm.

Thanks for the info.  After a little research I have found that you are right on this.  Thanks again.
