my advice, does not really matter the where, more the how. of all the access points ive been in, its the same story.
pick a trailhead. hike your ass off into remote country. be in position at bear:30. dont see camp in the daylight. if its storming, be in position when it breaks. climb to the highest/best vantage point around and be ready to park it there all day with the glass. be proficient shooting longer ranges. its big, steep country. it makes for long days and longer packouts. treat all garments with permethrin as ticks are THICK in there.. good luck  :twocents:

You just told everyone my secrete to hunting any unit, in any state, for any species I hunt. Well except the tick spray that applies to this hunt.
