Enough of Kshama already... she only wants him because he took a knee.

If they do sign Kaepernick I will not be supporting the Seahawks this year, and I've supported them for a LONG, LONG time.  As far as I'm concerned, Michael Bennett can take a hike as well.  Someone who disrespects our country like they do get 0 respect from me.  I don't think the organization is that dumb, but time will tell.  Do the Falcons need a bandwagon fan for a year!?

What about hiring the "Best man for the job"?
Kap might be the guy, but this decision should not be based on politics.
This is a Football Team which we hope will make the playoffs and win a Super Bowl.
If The Hawks can look past his BS and get on track, what do I care?
He is a hell of an athlete and would fit into the scheme.

Imagine him lining up as an end or in the backfield?
That would get the other defense thinking.

If the Hawks take him now, Sawant takes credit which will initiate far more political involvement in sports. A player supports Trump? "He needs to be cut or you will making a statement in favor of hatred and bigotry."

Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

He's not being picked up because his numbers are upside down. People want to make it a case of discrimination (political or otherwise) but he just sucks.

Ever work with someone you just can't stand? Someone who distracts others from their tasks, brings negative attention, has a bad attitude, isn't a team player? What they do off the field impacts the rest of the team

Why does she think she has any influence on Pete? He doesn't live in Seattle, the Seahawks facility isn't in Seattle, they only play half their games there. She needs to have her head examined. Every time she opens her mouth, the stupidity that comes out gives me a headache.

And he is still asking for $11.9 million, LOL

He is the most qualified and best fit, but....his antics are too much of a distraction for me. You are an entertainer, so entertain. I don't care what your feelings are or what your political views are. Just entertain. He is a tremendous athlete, but not a leader. like stated, he wants too much. No back up is worth that. Maybe in the 2-3m range, but he won't go that low. And that lady is nasty and needs to go. This further shows that anything and everything that comes out of her mouth is garbage.

If they sign him revenue will drop. I'd not buy a piece of hawks gear, buy a ticket or even cheer them on IF they made it o he play offs.  The team is a business and you try not to piss off your customers....  how is it working out so far for the guys that candles last man standing?

As soon as Michael Bennet invoked the name of Angela Davis as someone who has anything important to say, he lost all credibility, in my opinion. Angela Davis was/is a self-proclaimed member of the Communist Party USA, and the Black Panther Party. Michael Bennet either needs to change what his idea of a role model is, or just SHUT THE HELL UP!! And I am a Seahawks, and up until now, Michael Bennet fan.

If he was the "most qualified" someon would have already picked him up.
Denver offered him $7.9 million on a one year contract, he turned it down.
It is pretty obvious, no one thinks he is worth the money..
It is not like the NFL is particular, they hire wife abusers, killers, rapists, and druggies, as long as they perform.

Fans don't want him because they are racially biased, yet they love the black QB we have now. :chuckle:

Considering their current backup was arrested for assaulting a police officer and then arrested again for drug possession while on probation, after being in a car that hit pedestrians, is Kap really that bad? What about Jarran Reed being under investigation for DV? Are you gonna root for these guys? I'd rather root for Kap, he just stood up for something he believes in.  :dunno:  :twocents:

He won the Len Eshmont Award which is voted on by his teammates. Seems like he had their respect.

I suppose if the Seahawks don't sign him, the socialist council woman will order a group of malcontents to block your freeway, and she'll order the police to stand down while the glass breaks and the cars burn. I mean seriously, what motivates her? If she cared about sports, she would have voted for the SoDo arena, all of which would be privately funded.

Among other disrespectful actions, Colin Kaepernick wore socks depicting cops as pigs.  Probably not someone I would choose to "root for".

I would hate to be black in this country.
Us Whitey's get to complain about the Mexicans, Asians and any other thing we want.
If someone disagrees, that's okay.

If your black and stand up for what you believe is the truth, you better do it with "Respect".
While I do not agree with what Kap did, it's his decision.

Like someone pointed out, the NFL has rapists, wife beaters, crab leg stealers and drug users.
NOW we want to get square and deny a protester who acts within the law a chance to play a game that he is very good at.
We will deny him that opportunity even though it MAY help out team.

As for him being a disruption, it sounds like Richard Sherman is also a pain in the A%#.
Let's fire him, the drunk backup QB we have and that kid from Michigan that we took even though he has baggage.
I think the kid from Michigan had domestic violence charges against him.
I think he's in trouble again for some dumb A&% remark.

As for that hag Shawanda, she's a bag off hot air.
She is going to protest no matter what happens.
There is no liberal cause she does not support.

If Kap makes the team, I hope he contributes in a positive manner.
If not, I wish him well in life, he never hurt me.

There is a difference between being a pain in the ass with an ego and disrespecting the National Anthem and not standing up for your country and the brave people who have stood to defend it, not take a knee against it. As for the rapists, wife beaters, and all other POS people who are playing - I don't like them either. And no matter who you are, if you want to stand up for what you believe, we should all do it with respect. Don't play the race card. Anyone's message can be overlooked based on their attitude alone, no matter how right their message is.

The truth is cops are pigs?  :o  They are according to him.

No.

The truth is cops have helped and had a positive influence on more people than Kaepernick ever has or ever will.

You wish him well in life because he never hurt you, good for you. Do you also wish the "rapists, wife beaters, crab leg stealers and drug users" well in life? They never hurt you either.
