Looking for a driver for may 26 to Portland
« on: May 19, 2017, 07:49:44 PM »
Looking for someone to drive my wife and stepdaughter to a concert at Rose Quarter and bring them back afterwards. I figured I'd ask here before using uber or something similar. Thanks!

Thanks Brian! Yes, appraisal came back today so we are in the waiting stages. Have to repair the fence along one side of the property cause it leans is all. Waiting on the appraisal for the new place now.

How's your place coming along?

How much are you willing to pay? Have you tried Uber?

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. I'd pay more to someone I'd trust off here than I would an uber or lift driver. I'd pay a good price.

Maybe someone has a trustworthy friend or associate on here that does Uber?  :dunno:

Can I ask why you don't trust Uber or Lyft? I use them all the time when I travel and have never had a problem or felt unsafe. My wife and I even used them when we went to the Eric Church concert in Portland a few months back. I honestly think you have nothing to worry about.
I hunt therefore I am.

I guess I'm just being 'that' guy. I work too much right now to be able to take them, and just want them safe.

Concert starts at 7:30 pm.

Can they drive to my house and I'll take them round trip from here? Either way, I'll do it. No pay required.
