Bushnell Trail Cam photos
«

So I finally deployed one of my cheap Midway Bushnell cameras ($24.99) along with the Wildgame Innovations camera that was also purchased on sale from Midway for $19.99. The Wilgame photos I posted in another thread. I wanted to post some of these as well. I'm pretty happy with it for a $25 camera. Almost wish I would've bought more than two.

Nice!
I can't afford much for a trail cam so I was thinking of skipping out on the idea but for 25$ maybe I'll give one of these a try!
It is legal to use trail cams on public land right?
You just have to hope no one who sees it, messes with it haha

Yes, trail cams are legal on public land. I have these on private, if they were on public I'd probably have them locked up and/or hidden better.
If you want to get some cameras for $25 you'll have to wait for the next Midway sale. I imagine they'll have another good deal soon. They seem to have them quite often.

Off topic but does anyone get pictures of any predators besides bears that stick their faces in the cam? I see lots of pics on HuntWa of bears and elk doing it and even have a couple of my own but never any yotes or cats. Whats up with that?

Coyotes are extremely nervous around cameras, from what I've seen. They avoid them as much as possible if they know a camera is there. I don't know if it's the human scent, or the lights. Probably both. Actually if I remember correctly when my cameras have bothered coyotes the most was at night when the red light would come on, coyotes just about turn themselves inside out getting away from it. Cats not so much, it seems, but they don't seem to be curious like elk and bears.

Nice! I picked up 3 of them. I'm waiting for a little more antler growth before I deploy them.

I have put out a couple of the sale bushnells and have been pretty happy with how they have worked for 25$, I dont think they are super effective at night time, as far as the infrared flash lighting up much and I dont think mine have been triggering much at night, but then again, I dont really care about night time pics. Good buy and if they get stolen, oh well!
