Mountain goat.
My dad and I drew as partners with Zero points.
Of course back then there were no points.
Perhaps those were the good old days of WA hunting.

Around 85' I think.

900 goat tags.   :yike:

Last year there were 27 (including 6 "conflict reduction" tags).

My dad drew goat rocks with only 2 points and shot a real nice billy about 15 years ago.  He's patiently waiting for his sheep tag next:)

I drew a goat tag in 1997 first year I ever put in for it. I took a 9 7/8 billy out of the Smith Creek unit, he'd make Boone and Crockett honorable mention we rough scored him very conservatively, he was a yellow tinged old billy goat. It was a really great hunt, I ended up having to rope up and rope him as well to keep us both from going over because we were both on the side of a cliff.
The next year they went to the point system and made it a OIL tag and every year since then I have put in for another goat tag.
Swim hell, the fall will kill ya.

I drew my goat tag this year with 9 points. Please don't punch me.
