I'm curious to see how the Leupold LRP works for you. I saw one at Sportsmen's Warehouse and almost bought it to try out.

It looks to me like the LRP was Leupolds match up to the SHV marketing wise. I like how light it is compared to the SHV. I like the turret and the covered windage and of course at a glance it is clearer than the Vortex Viper HS-T's and LR's I've shot. My concern is how accurate the turrets are and repeatability. I'm trying to get away from turning knobs if possible. That's why I got it with the Impact 32 reticle.

GUNSMITH-X keeps whispering temptations of Mil's or Mil/Mil, something along those lines. :o

That's half the fun. When you have built, tinkered, shot and fondled pretty much all there is Firearms wise. The new stuff is just as much fun to shoot as what's been working forever.

Hits are hits,  no matter if it's Mil's or MOA.😊😊 I guess it's why I have never hit a golf ball in my life. I have better things to do.👍

Got to love the "Caution Heavy" on the Nosler box, I doubt you have enough for the kind of evaluation we are use to seeing from you!

Biggerhammer, is there any chance you could measure the case capacity of one of those 22 Nosler cases in water?  Nosler lists it at 34.7gr water but they sometimes stretch the truth on things a little.

I'm going to start assembling the rifle this evening. The big brown truck just dropped off one of the scopes I ordered for it.

Leupold Long Range Precision (LRP) 4.5-14x50 with the Impact 32 reticle (MOA). I was going to use my 8.5-25 LR but I decided to send it off to Leupold and have M1 MOA turrets installed along with a TMOA reticle. Should have it back in a couple weeks or so.
