Quilomene Modern Firearm
« on: June 16, 2017, 01:48:00 PM »
Anyone else on here draw this tag?  I'm beyond excited! I've been living in Ellensburg the past three years and have spent a ton of time in the unit.  It's going to be a fun ride! My dad will be joining me on it!

Be patient there are a lot of deer moving up there. You'll get a good one. Saw a bunch of deer during elk season. The big bucks weren't too interested in does as of Saturday.

Just came out of the hills after the first week.  Nothing yet.  The rut activity seemed to have picked up today.  The two days prior to today were almost a complete waste to the fog.  Haven't seen any real monsters yet, but have seen a fair amount of average three and four points. I'll head back up to camp in the morning and be there until the end of the hunt.

I’ve spent the last four days up there and I’ve seen decent bucks every day. Should be just a matter of time.

Fun hunt.  Didn't see as many bucks I was hoping for, but still an awesome time with the old man.  Ended up shooting this 3 point and I am very happy with it for what we were seeing.  Measures 25 1/4 inches wide.

Killer deer congrats. Any more details on how you got him?
