Nice assortment Jager!

Do you mind sharing the recipe? I know it's obvious what is in the boil but what spices and do you boil the fish with everything?  Adding salmon and whitefish seems like a very tasty idea.  :EAT:

We grilled the fish separate.
We used water and about 8 beer's to boil everything. Old Bay and garlic powder and a little salt in the water. Then we took some fresh herbs out of my niece's herb garden: lemon basil, parsley, basil and some store bought herb provance, mustard seed dried onion and dill seed and made a big boil bag out of cheese cloth. Sprinkled some fresh parsley in after it came out and had some garlic butter for dipping but I didn't use the butter that much the flavor was already there.

Puyallop river pinks open so I got fresh bait yesterday in form of salmon carcasses and last night was my beat catch yet with the fresh bait 21 total most about 5" mark bopping them up with old bay onion potato and zatarans right now!

:hello: hey southpole, been kind of wierd not being on here for a few months.. lol..  I bought a new fishin boat so ive been fishing alot lately to say the least..  Im going to throw some pots out and see what i turn up.. I just cant believe Shrimper and some of those guys that been pulling up 9 + inchers.. Hard to match those numbers but i will giver hell...

I know it.....  I know there eastside mudbugs so there's something goin on there..  :chuckle:.. where i elk hunt i have a few good spots that have been known to hold some jumbo's, i am going to through out a shrimp pot.. lol well in the next couple weeks hopefully we get that allusive 9incher..  I think my best is 8.5.

Southpole - All our crawdads have two claws and 6..um..er 8..um..er 10 legs oh I don't know, maybe there is some Hanford influence.  ;)

Are crawdads in most all lakes, rivers and ponds to some degree? Just have to find what they like and where they are?
