WTB nice deer rifle
« on: June 17, 2017, 04:07:33 PM »
I've got an itch for a nice deer rifle.  It would be a bolt action, preferrably with a custom barrel (maybe even a custom action), but accurate factory rifles will work too.  24, 25, or 26 caliber, wildcat cartridges are fine.

I have other rifles/scopes to trade or can pay cash.

Thanks.

Its not a custom but it sure has collected some deer. I have a Ruger M77 tang safety bolt action. It has a wood stock and is .280 remington caliber. Rifle only no scope. Has been a safe queen for several years now. send me a PM if you need any other info.

I appreciate the replies fellas.

I am pretty much only looking for a sporter weight hunting rifle in 24, 25, or 26 caliber though.

I have a very nice Sako AIII circa ~1979 in 7mm RM that is in excellent condition with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 in Sako ringmounts too.  That's only .02" bigger bore size.  And you could shoot an elk with it too!  Needless to say, it's a Sako so it's accurate.
IMPEACH TRUMP!!

There are a couple of nice examples here: https://cardinalguns.com/product-category/rifles/used/

Located in Auburn/ Algona. The Weatherby Accumark would make a fine addition to your arsenal, or the nearly new Remington 700 would give you a building block.

Buy the pre-64 model 70 Winchester in 270 cal. The perfect deer rifle!

Good advice, Wapiti22. Heck, immediate checkout is available- what more can you ask?

In all seriousness, I have made honest evaluations of their condition, and I am happy to let you inspect for 3 days after receipt. Full refund if you have legitimate concerns.

I'd take the JC Higgins model 50 for $385. Great quality rifles with a FN Mauser action. You can't buy a rifle of that kind of quality anymore, not for that price. It's in the same league as the pre-64 Winchesters.

I would buy with confidence from Cardinal.  My only experience was extremely positive both with quality and price!
