Are they getting any bigger?  I haven't seen many caught over 20lbs.

Hi Big Horn. Quick question for you. We fished 2 weeks ago off GH 150 - 170'. We did well limited every day. Thinking starting off North off the casino, then heading South West. Have you heard anything?
Thanks,
James

Limited in sixty five feet two miles south but fought jelly fish. Charters straight out 130. feet. Fish in fifty feet about a mile up the north side looks like the fish are moving in.

Thanks Bighorn. We fished off GH in a 170'. Limited, but had to work for them. Thinking of going North tomorrow.

I went out west in 150 and we got into jelly fish so came back to bouy 3 and limited. They are saying fishing is going to close the 15th because of the quota. Looks like great weather through the week end so fish if you can.

Who is they that are saying it is going to close on the 15th. Lots of quota left on the Chinook quota

I don't recall where but I seem to remember reading it was closing Aug. 15th for Chinook Salmon in all of Washington waters.

Not much Coho quota left and with the number of Coho being caught to each king I would bet it closes early.

They could always just make people release Coho.

It'll close early for sure because the Coho quota is about gone.  WDFW won't allow catch and release as they consider a percentage of the encounters mortality and that counts against the quota too.
