Getting ready to book a trip.
Any advice for the way this season is going, as far as when to book it for silver's? Going to do a bottom/salmon combo.
Last time we went they opened it up the next week for natives and we went with deep sea charters.

We limited with five kings and three silvers and the same today almost straight out 155 feet. Deep sea are good either the Slammer or the Ultimate both great skippers they were right beside us today. Silvers are getting bigger and kings running 12 to 15 pounds.

Fished a combo trip today. Rockfish were hard to find for
Some reason, but once we got on them we limited quickly. 23 keeper Salmon for 19 fishermen. (Mostly kings) with 15+ released due to size or wild coho status

we chartered a trip today with Chuck on the Freedom...couldn't buy a sea bass for the first 3 hours...19 of us fishing..nobody was catching any bottom fish then we hit the jackpot...in the span of just over 1/2 hour the boat limited on bottom fish (160+ fish in just over 30 minutes).  we then turned towards Salmon...it was crazy as some of the people on the boat just stopped fishing but the 6 of us in our group landed 2 each salmon to round out the day...crazy as just the 6 of us probably caught and released 10 wild coho along with our limit of kings and a couple clipped silvers...weather and water conditions couldn't be better

It's been good for bottom fish all year and the salmon really got good this last week lots of silvers and some kings. Watch the Washington marine forcast it's good for seven days try to pick a day when it's five feet or less and you will have a good trip I like deep sea charters. Bi DG
