We fished Jeff's head opener had 3 clipped fish at 21" so no keepers for us.  Lots of shakers.

We went to Point Wilson. Limited in a few hours. Had one in the boat and ended with a double. And a  visit from the Sheriff. 10lb, 12lb and 15lb.

At this rate that's about a 5-6 day season.

Hopefully it will last through tomorrow, I plan on hitting midchannel with a kid that has never caught a salmon.

It will be open tomorrow.  Both participation and fishing quality has dropped off since opening day.  But I expect area 9 will close sometime next week.

Big tide swings this weekend. 14 feet in the sound. Gonna be some water moving.

This has slowed way down and most have given up.  This morning's bite was steady:  shaker, shaker, dogfish ...

Ended up releasing a nice native and keeping a small coho.  Looks like it will stay open awhile longer.

Only 12 rigs in the parking lot.

Hopefully another week or so. We bonked a couple nice kings yesterday. They are still there.

I ended up with just about everything other than what we were looking for:  shaker, dogfish, too many fins plus a heater fire and a seasick deckhand.  So, pretty much an epic trip.
