No, the unit they are in is an any bull or any elk (can't remember which) unit. They just need to venture off the hanford site while still staying in the unit, which is doable.
You are correct there are 2 or 3 units they could possibly wander into

these bulls pop up every year ..... I just wish plat would go shoot all of them so we don't have to be teased ....... :chuckle:

Word of warning: it's not just the Hanford Site / Dept of Energy land that's off-limits.  The Rattlesnake and Wahluke West units and all the river banks of the Hanford Reach National Monument are closed to all access. The rest of the Monument is open though.
