Congrats to all the successful hunters!  Got this guy on a solo muzzy hunt with 20 minutes of legal shoot time left (hence the crappy cell phone pic).  Feeling blessed!

My dad and I got it done on Sunday evening. 8 hour stalk/wait for it to get up from its bed and 5 hour pack out.

Sunday evening Douglas County 2nd deer tag, reduced to cooler size
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Nice one Uplandbum.  You and your dad worked your tails off for that nice buck.  Congratulations!

Spotted this guys antler tips bedded down in some tall crp grass sunday about 1030. Hour and a half belly crawl/schuffle later and was lucky enough to plant one right behind his ear. Feeling pretty lucky, these savy whitetails bust me way more often than not. Good eats on the way 🤘🤘🤘

He is full velvet. I believe we have a high number of bucks in our area with cryptorchidism. We have harvested 3 in the last   6 years. And seen many more.

I want to publicly thank John Campbell with the Seattle Safari club and Larry Lawson from Colville for making the youth hunt a possibility.  They make the hunt all about the kids and work their butts off to get shot opportunities for every one of them.  It was a great day and my son will remember it for the rest of his life.  He's already planning out next year's hunts, so thank you again John and Larry.  You guys are awesome.
