I second that, my son and I had a fantastic time hunting this past weekend. First time for my son to deer hunt and harvest his first deer. Great operation, they skinned and gutted the deer and put us on many great deer.

My daughter's first buck.  Posted in another thread.  25" wide, haven't scored it yet. (orange was on right before and after the picture and the tag is notched right under its head)

Got my first buck today with the help of @buckcanyonlodge . I'm grateful for the clean kill, single shot destroyed the heart.  My husband was there to share the experience.

Spotted this guys antler tips bedded down in some tall crp grass sunday about 1030. Hour and a half belly crawl/schuffle later and was lucky enough to plant one right behind his ear. Feeling pretty lucky, these savy whitetails bust me way more often than not. Good eats on the way 🤘🤘🤘

Congrats to all the successful hunters!  Got this guy on a solo muzzy hunt with 20 minutes of legal shoot time left (hence the crappy cell phone pic).  Feeling blessed!

Awesome, Kellama2001.  Didn't you kill your buck last year on the last day?

Congrats!

Yes I did lol! The previous two years actually, were last day bucks.  But this year I got my buck on the 4th day of season, with 20 minutes of legal shoot time left in that day (not in the season).  Sorry for the confusion...I'll try to get one opening morning next year :chuckle:

As I was biking this deer out today I was thinking and this is my 50th year deer hunting.
This is the biggest buck I ever killed, 3x2 blacky, 17" wide.
First stormy day was the charm, 250 yard shot in a downpour. 3 miles out to the pickup.
