Nice fish, just wondering if you buy licneses for both states can you keep two limits, a limit for each state?
Not in this life time. Just like two pole, only one limit. Would be nice tho.

Does anyone have a link to the law? I know someone going fishing and someone else told them they could catch a limit for each license. I would like to show them the law to save them from getting in trouble. My apologies for getting off-topic. Those are all great looking fish, I'm going to tell them you guys have been doing well.

Page 51 of the regs:  "An angler fishing the Columbia River is restricted to one daily limit even if licensed by both states."

Thanks very much, this will save some guys from doing something that was incorrectly told to them!

Anyone fish astoria area/buoy 10 this weekend August 18-20? We fished friday, saturday and 1/2 sunday.. got 6 kings total and a coho.  Lost three nice kings to sealions along with all the gear. Talk about frustrating...A helpless feeling and can really piss a guy off  :IBCOOL:

Lots of fun though overall!

Rubber bullets.  I've seen people use firecrackers.  It works sometimes.

My son and his friends went to Astoria last Friday, they limited on kings, all the coho were natives and had to be released. The friends's 4 year old daughter caught a 38" king, they figured it was 30 to 35 pounds.

(sorry I don't have a photo of the big one to share)
