Quick review of S&W 44 mag 629 4"
« on: September 26, 2017, 11:09:26 AM »
Picked up a new S&W 629 4" in 44 mag from @carpsniper2 last spring.

My one-emoji review is as follows:

Have run a few boxes through it, shoots very well for a 4" barrel. Much better than I thought it would. Trigger is excellent.

Bleach bottles drug behind the boat on a 50' tether (early season deckhand there), as well as old coho spoons at 45 feet (by my hand), don't stand a chance.

Thanks for the easy transaction carpsniper -

It is PURE coincidence that I had my deckhand practicing on an erratic surface target at about the approximate range and size of a sea lion's head...   :chuckle:

Ok, jokes, jokes. I wouldn't risk my everything by plugging a sea lion, no matter how much I hate them. I just accept feeding them is a cost of doing business, and they often bust off a spoon with the fish they stole.

And I really hope they "get the point" when they're passing my stolen fish the next day...

Thanks Coach, I'll tighten it up!  :chuckle:

Think those are Silver Horde Fiesty models, but any dead spoon is a potential target imho.
