Ive used wipe out and montana extreme 50bmg solvents.  They both work well but the 50bmg is just plain obnoxious. Bottle says "caution, strong vapors", i expected it to be a normal hoppes type smell, i took a whiff and felt like i got punched in the nose!  Definitely something to only use outside, even then, i can smell ammonia for days afterward.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Yea I opened that took one wiff and threw it out.  No reason to use that when non-scent stuff like Boretech works so well.

I'll be trying out some Wipeout "Patchout" today. Heard good things about it. Apparently, no brush required. I've used quite a few of the other copper removers, but never Wipeout. I picked up a bottle at Sportsmans Warehouse last time I was in Federal Way, a couple weeks ago. Tried Cabelas in Lacey first but they don't have it, or at least I didn't see any in the store. Seems odd that they wouldn't stock it, as it seems to be pretty popular.

I've never tried the liquid Patchout but have had great success with the foam version.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

I too make Ed's Red.  Last batch was a gallon that I'm working my way thru.   Ed's Red is good for powder fouling but not so much on copper fouling.
