Sounds like a very productive weekend. Thanks for sharing.

It was, and fun. Got trail cam set and a trail to our sitn spot cleaned up. I'm at a rough spot right now, as in not sure what deer season I should try to do. Got this dang sciatica thing.

Late season always been good to me. But I've never stepped foot on the east side. But that will change.

Late hunt is awesome. Best hunting and biggest deer I have ever shot. But has become hard to get land to hunt

Nice photos! Some good looking deer there!

👍🏼
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Been up here since Friday.
Had a few smokeless days, smoke is back this morn.
Have seen a few bears, got one about figured out. He isn't a big bear at all but my daughter is coming up, so it might be cool to fill a tag with her.
Dad made a sneak on some elk with his bow, didn't work out.
He shot a coon the other night with bow.

That pic was taken Sunday, with a week left I felt like I'd hold off.  There are 2 piles of bear crap, bigger and smaller.

That bear in the crosshair picture looks pretty good.  I'd need a bit better look, but he's better than average.
I hope you thump one.  Best of luck.

Got home last night
No bear meat in cooler
I held out for the big one in the area, but it never showed.
I'll have next weekend. Learned a lot of area, found lots of bear beds and stuff. Trails that looked like only bear use. Trees that are all oily looking were they do some rubbing.
Saw lots of elk. They talked a lot, that was fun to watch
Always got next weekend

Is your rifle scope a sig product?
A remarkable experience is one where the pain is forgotten so quickly, the frustrations and struggles are forgotten the minute you’re done.

I can’t wait to do it the next time.
