Keeping bait eggs fresh
« on: August 19, 2017, 03:53:21 PM »
Last time I used eggs for trout fishing we used to light a match and put in container then close lid.
I can't remember Last time  I looked for a book of matches they still out there?
Or what do you use to keep eggs fresh?

Like cured pautzke eggs?  If so they should have enough preservatives to keep a long time.

I always used a match. A little piece of paper rolled up and lit might work.

I burnt a piece of wax paper.  The melting wax helped preserve the eggs
