Nice!
Yes, my FJ is pink, I'm all about Team Jacob, beer is not for the horses nor is whiskey for the men, they are both for me.

dropped the crab pots off this morning and decided to run down for a couple hours before work  One coho  and one pink . had to release 2 other coho because they were not clipped. action for me has been south of the oil docks right around the weather bouy......     also shortened my leader up to 30 inches and the bite has increased for what its worth, will prolly be back out sat morn.

FW, I will be in that neighborhood too on Saturday, say hello if you see a 15' montauk with an 8 year old first mate.

We'll probably be out tomorrow, that exact same area is where we schwacked them during SFS.  Any farther north and we got mobbed by shakers.

I'll probably try again tomorrow.  Long run for sub-par fishing especially when you have to pass through so many better spots on the way.

My kid and I had some action this morning, although only one football about 7 lbs for the cooler. Tossed back a pig wild fish and another about 4 lbs. Had another three that didn't stick.  Also saw an elephant seal just north of meadow point, never seen one of those in the sound before!

Good morning for us, my kid and I took a neighbor and his eight year old, neither of whom had caught a salmon. First bite for the neighbor kid was a clipped king about 8 lbs.  Tough to release your first fish, particularly a nice one!   We then caught three wild coho and a clipped coho, all before about 8a. Took a break to check the crab pots, and then finished with two more hatchery and one wild coho around the tide change. Normal year and we would have had seven in the box, but the neighbors were still pretty stoked with their three. Glad it worked out with guests aboard!

Good to hear that it's picking up.  I might have to miss a morning of work this week.

Some crazy coho fishing out there today.  I got my two solo in about 30 minutes.  Released two others.  Put the boat on the trailer and went home and got the kids.  Got them back out for their limits from 10:30a - 11:15a. Get em while you can!

Nicely done WAcoueshunter!!!  been playing in the sound for around 40 years now, cant remember when I have seen coho fishing this hot.  hoping to try a couple of evening runs this week if the winds stay down.

Its been a darn good year for salmon, although there didn't seem to be many big kings this year.  I am 2 or 3 fish shy of needing a second punch card, and that is all kings, and one coho.  Rumor from a WDFW person is that this year's coho run is going to be a real good one.  So I am patiently waiting for them in area 11 and 13, and associated unnamed rivers.

I was thinking the same thing. Can't remember it being like today. No water in the rivers, tons of bait around, limited pressure upstream, all kinda makes for a perfect storm for great fishing. I imagine a good rain will flush them all into the rivers, but until then....

Landed a 3 man limit this morning by 7:30am - released 2 wild Coho and an extra hatchery that hit while we were pulling in the lines.

  I went too, couldn't stay away!  Still crazy out there.  Got my two, plus one wild and one hatchery released, in 45 minutes this morning.  Then off to work!

Going to give it a shot out of Shilshole tomorrow.  Anyone willing to share a PM on where they've been finding fish?  Trying to decide if we should start at Meadow Point or go up to the Oil Docks.

Wouldn't normally ask this sort of question but I have to be at work around 9, so we won't have much time to search.

Still tons of coho in the ocean to. To bad they took away the area 5 coho season. They are really killing the small resorts up there.  Good job on the Puget sound fish.
