They are just starting from what Iíve seen.  Lots of bucks moving throughout the day, but still small bucks and does together. . We saw 23 bucks today, but just holding out for a good one. 5 Days left.

I left on Fri the 3rd and they were rutting hard where I was at ... I was tagged out on Monday the 5th and spent the day Tuesday taking Pics and watching the rut. plenty of sniffing, Chasing and posturing seemed the rut was in full swing to me.

We hunted north central Montana on Nov 6th-10th and the Muley rut was still pretty slow.  I only saw one hot doe the entire week and the big bucks had not mixed into the doe herds yet.  The Whitetail rut was just starting.  It seems to be a late rut year from what I have seen in the past.

On our way back right now. Rut was in full swing. Bucks chasing does like crazy! Passed up a lot of bucks and got a little excited on this one before I looked him over good. Still very pleased with him tho! My partner and I both tagged out.
