I just got my 2nd sled modified to be hauled behind my quad. 3 deer and 2 bears in 2 years and I love it. All those years of dragging critters are over. Well worth the money IMO

I have several.  They work great for waterfowl hunting if you can float it into a spot or don't have to pull it by hand to far over ground.  If you can hook it to a quad or UTV it is the ticket.  To pull by hand, it will flat wear you out.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I have one and use it for both big game and waterfowl.  If you have snow on the ground it is great, if you don't, I would agree with the above.  If you are using it for only light bulky things like full body geese, it isn't bad at all, but it does have some friction when you load it up.

I have a sled I got from Cabela's.  Works great on snow.  One trip I rigged up a harness and it was a little easier to pull.  A buddy of mine wore one out pulling it over dry ground.

I have not used it on game yet but have for other stuff and the little kids kayaks from costco etc work great, much better than a flat bottom plastic toboggan, even on grass, dirt etc.

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I own one or more of everything mentioned above.

I have used the deer sleigh on a dozen deer and works great.

I have three jet sleds in different sizes for waterfowl and other hunting applications.

If you get one abondon the rope that comes with it.

Run 1/4 inch soft rope down both sides after threading through nose holes, tie in back and tape knots with electrical tape.  Leave the loop out front 6-7 feet.
Slip over one arm and head and take off hands free.

If the rope holes are in the slope front, I would seal them and drill new holes on the front rim.

Drill holes around the rail lip, so you can steach rubber bungees across you load.

Here is one with my modifications.

I keep one in my truck. Works great to put bear or deer size game in with ice.
