Archery hunting 454/460
« on: September 06, 2017, 09:09:32 PM »
I've been scouring the areas around the 18 looking for deer that I can get to. Plenty of bear signs, but not as much deer. Maybe they're just harder to spot? Not sure as it is my first year hunting. Looking for someone who wants to hike in a few miles and possibly get on some deer / western archery elk. Not tied to these GMUs, but they are close to home and give me more time to scout. I was planning on campbell-global, but they are shut down because of the fire danger. So I'm winging it and trying to get out as much as possible this year and learn. I mapped out some areas and went through them last weekend. I have some new areas I want to check out this weekend.
