Saw pics of the moose on Facebook.  Very impressive; congrats Jayda!   Thank you to all of the people who stepped up to help out this family.

How did I miss this story, so damn sad to hear about this young beautiful lady.  I just don't understand why kids get cancer, I know life isn't fair but that just isn't fair and should never happen to children or young adults.  I'm so very sorry she is going through this, God bless her and those who are helping with this chance to forget about cancer at least while she's in the woods enjoying God's creations. Prayer sent, miracle request on the way!   :'(

It's stories like these that put in perspective how small the world has become from social media.  I first read about Jayda when my Wilson Creek friends shared her story on Facebook.  This site told me about the Buckrun contributions, Instagram had a post from Eva Shockey, and the success photos are on here and facebook again.  It is really amazing to me, both the good (like this story) and the bad, how how connected this world is in our ability to have so much information at our fingertips.

Thank you for this thread.  I have followed her story through mutual friends on Facebook, talk about gut wrenching.  So glad people are stepping up to let her experience wonderful opportunities.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I hope someone posts the moose she shot this weekend!!! I'd guess new state record!
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

With all the crap in the world...

Things like this make me smile.  They are warming.  Thanks to all who helped make this happen

Missed this thread while out hunting, but have been getting updates from people who have Facebook. She is such an amazing girl and awesome hunter. Praying she pulls through this and shocks us all!
