The current state record is 183 6/8 so if this moose doesn't shrink more than 4 3/4 inches (I think) when it is dry it would be the new state record. Very impressive animal, good job Jayda and helpers.

That's awesome!  Beautiful bull for a beautiful girl!  Congratulations on a great experience most will only get to dream about.  That bull wont quite score out the way you have it written in that score sheet Ben.  Those two abnormal points will actually count against his score but if your other measurements are accurate than she's still got a chance at the state record.  That would be icing on the cake. Congratulations again to Jayda her family and all involved.

Not to worried about the score. But it would be cool.  Good point on the abnormal points.

benhuntin, the score doesn't matter to me either, I only posted the information because of the title of the thread. I think that it is fantastic that she got the opportunity to get a moose and had great help and a successful hunt.

I'm prone to blinking rapidly when I hear about stories such as this and am thankful that there are still kind, decent, caring and generous people out there.

Way to go Ms. Jayda, Benhuntin, and everyone else involved in this hunt.  Good on you!

Allen

It was great meeting you and your crew Sunday, and congrats to the young lady on a fine bull. Thanks for doing this hunt for her. Did you get it where we talked about?
