Lady has a creek with beaver in it. I explained to her about trapping season and she seemed OK to wait a bit. Let me know if you are interested.

I've got about 6 beavers, destroying our creek and going to create some serious flooding sometime soon.  What is the rules/regulations on getting a trapper?  I know their pelts aren't worth much, like they once were..

Starting Nov.1 trapping season is open until March 31. Any licensed trapper can trap for you, no charge.
Outside of season you would have to hire a WCO and there would be a charge. It is possible you might be unable to get a fur trapper and choose to hire a WCO during trapping season but if you pay it has to be a WCO.
Fur trappers that are not WCOs cannot accept pay for trapping.

You can also trap on your own property for problem wildlife yourself without a license. Might be a learning curve though and you would have to purchase your own traps.

where are you located? With the season coming soon shouldn't be much of a problem to get a trapper out to your place and take a look and see if we can help you out!
