New sight ? mount it yourself?
« on: October 22, 2017, 05:09:56 PM »
Hey guys I got a new sight a Spot Hogg Fast eddie. I was thinking about taking it in to either Rock Creek or Nock Point to have it mounted and dialed in. Then I was wondering how many guys out there do it at home? Any suggetions or just have a shop do it? Thanks Jason

Just watch youtube and do it yourself.
It really isn't hard.
It's good to get familiar with installing components and tuning your own bow.
That way if it comes out of tune on the way to hunting camp you will know what to do.
If you run into a problem you can ask questions here or take it to a shop.

Do it yourself... teach a man to fish.... and never starve again

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Watch, You Tube, it's not rocket science. Plus build some self confidence.

You should try it yourself.

I'm speculating here but, had you bought the sight from the Shop it probably would have been mounted free of charge.  :twocents:
