Good Blacktail down.
« on: October 23, 2017, 12:45:49 AM »
So I'm sitting for an little evening gig until legal light. My hunting party is posted at various game highways playing the wind all in about 1 square mile or so. I hear "KAPOOYA!!"  Followed by "WOOO!!! WOOO!!! YES!!!! YES! YES!! $!#$ YEAH!!! SMOKED HIM!"  Coming from the direction of my good friend. Long story short this buck followed a doe out of a thicket and died at about 115  yards. Needless to say I think the rut is starting to show itself. This evening on my way to work I saw another good 2pt dogging a doe around a yard. Stay crispy, boys. -Flizz

Beautiful buck!!! Congrats to your friend!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Scotch Broom Bucks!  Can't glass them for anything.  Nice job by your friend.

They like tearing it up for some reason.? Caught a bunch of movement walking down a road one time, and this buck was thrashing on a scotch broom bush. He died
