I once forgot my rain gear.
A storm front came in and i hinted with big black garbage bags between my long underwear and camo.
It was a little noisy but it kept me dry.
Mostly.   :chuckle:

You're not the only one who has had to do the "emergency garbage bag poncho" trick.

First lite SEAK and Stormtight pants. They rock but I live in the rain. I have 2 seasons with the jacket using it 15 ish days hard hunting through brush and it looks new. The storm tight pants I have a small tear by the ankle from hurdling deadfalls chasing a bugling bull. They keep me 100% dry but are not a warmth layer if your hunting later in the season.

+ 1 on the First Lite SEAK Stormtight and Boundary Stormtight pants. It's a bummer others have had terrible service with FL, I've nothing but good experiences all around.

They aren't loud, I have used them for archery elk several times.  I prefer them over the thicker stormfront I own both, the pit zips are a lifesaver on the cloudburst.  The cloudburst set actually stays in my pack all the time including backpacking trips.

Fwiw, my Cabela's MT 50s failed slowly over time. Trying to save a buck, I clean them well and treated them with a topical waterproofing spray. They are as good as new since the spray treatment. I will upgrade one day, but at least I'm not wearing leaky rain gear in the meantime.

The original First Life Storm has treated me well.  I purchased the Seak in their asat closeout sale.  It looks bomb proof and not too heavy.

Someone needs to buy this jacket and let us know how it is, itís only 800.00.  Itís from OR and built for the military.  Pants are the same price.

Has anyone tried or know anyone that has tried this gear? Their warranty seems top shelf. Prices arenít bad either.

yep !!!  Bought the wapiti all weather pants and coat they are lifetime guaranteed and they worked flawless for the 3 days of crap weather during modern deer!!
I will be out all weekend wearing them up high in the snow and give them a true test but so far they are my favorite of all
