Pe Ell late archery
« on: October 27, 2017, 03:55:25 PM »
So this year for late elk archery I was looking at trying northwest of Pe Ell. My father in law said he used to hunt it years ago but hasn’t forever. How accessible is all of the state land there? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated and if successful more than willing to pay you back in meat. Thanks and good luck everyone.

Never hunted it, but just looked at it on OnX, and it looks like very few access points, as there is a lot of private land near the county roads.

Walville Rd, RCP mainline, HM mainline, theirs actually a lot of access points. Those three are closes headed west from Pe Ell. Mill creek rd pretty much runs straight through the middle of the state land. Turn right on camp one rd then mill creek is the first right off that. Mill creek rd turns into mill creek mainline. Runs all way to weyco ground. Which I’m sure their will be a gate.

Good luck.

Yeah I had only looked at onx myself so was going for someone who’s been there or lives there with a little more insight.

Try right along the state to private land and try to get away from roads. Good luck.
