Waiting for the fog to lift
« on: November 04, 2017, 08:03:32 AM »
Who else is sitting and waiting for this fog to clear up so you can see elk? Saw two legal bulls right here last Friday and now can't see 50 yards. Should be able to see 500. Hoping it clears soon. I'll let you know when we've got a bull on the ground.     8)

Best of luck, BC.

Thank you! I guess nobody else can see either cause it's been light for 40 minutes and haven't heard a shot fired yet. And there's PLENTY of other hunters nearby.   :o

Do you have a branch antler permit? Any way to get info where they are?

It's 3 point minimum over here on the west side. Finally figured out we were just too high and we were in the clouds. Walked back to the gate which was several hundred feet lower, and it's clear as can be. Maybe we'll have better luck this evening.

You may get a snow storm tonight. Stay safe.
