Tagged out boys
« on: October 15, 2007, 07:04:12 PM »
hey guys, hunting the honey holes this weekend and today.  Passed on a couple smaller legal bucks as well as my dad did saturday.  Sunday i took a really nice 4x4, 25 inches wide, not very tall. Then went out today to try to tag out our good buddy and did a great guiding job, and were notching a tag at 8:30 on a beautiful 4x3.  his was 18 1/2 wide and close to 20 inches tall.  Gotta check the pics out later, and load em up.  Still going hunting tomarrow, still got a couple buddies with tags that we need to fill.  Congrats to all, and good luck to the others.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Oh man, I think I might hunt next year with a modern fire rifle again and do a BUNCH of scouting during the summer months because I just don't feel as comfortable shooting a muzzleloader at this point.
