Help completing WA 'big four' for the year...
« on: November 04, 2017, 04:05:46 PM »
Had to pull out of Eastside spike bull season a couple of days early and didn't even see any spikes this year. Plenty of bigger bulls and cows... But have been very blessed to harvest  decent blacktail, nice bear up high and a very nice cougar tom. I do have the Master Hunter cert but live up in the Bellingham area and don't really know anyone in the Cle Elum/Ellensburg area that might know the area and where to find antlerless elk in the 3911 Elk Area which I can hunt from November 11 to December 15, acc'd to regs.

This is unusual for me but I'm asking for help from some folks that know where the antlerless elk will be and when over there and may even have access to private land or know landowners that are having elk problems that would like one removed.

Please let me know!

Thanks,

Jon

Congrats on the bear,  buck,  and cougar and best of luck on a big cow.  I hope the best for you on accomplishing your goal!

Have had one member PM me that he might be over there too. Thanks! Anyone else have tip/ideas for that time of year over there? Very snow dependent, I know.
