Very basic, the bighorn.  I do have a blued, thumbhole stock that is surplus to my needs.  It does have some corrosion near the breach area in the barrel.  I have 3 of them.

If you want to meet and shoot, let me know.  I belong to Cascade and Snoqualmie ranges.  You can shoot the blued, and my stainless if you like.  Stainless is not for sale.

Stupid question but if I buy one do I choose the western ignition option for it to be legal to hunt in WA and ID?

The sale may be misleading or whoever advertised it at Knight stated it incorrectly.   It says Veterns are eligible but then says you have to upload your military ID card.   Only retired military actually get an ID card, not all Veterns.   If it's directed towards active duty it shouldn't be advertised for Veterns.  Someone who is interested may want to make a call on this one.

Yes, you will need the Western option for muzzleloader hunting in either of the three PacNorWest States.

I am 99% sure it is for active and out of service vets.  That is the way it was last time...

Says ID or use DD-214 as validation, so anyone that’s been discharged or active should qualify.

Yikes nevermind.  Their online prices do a good job protecting their retailers.  40% off is just a tad below what I see them at Work Sports for in Enumclaw regularly.

Glad they changed it. Last night it did not say anything about the DD 214.  40% off the Knight wolverine would be a pretty good price.

Just plugged in the code.   $207.59 for a Wolverine with the Western ignition.   That is a screaming deal for anyone wanting to get into muzzleloading.

Glad to see standup companies like Knight giving back to veterans. At that price on a wolverine, I would buy one if I was a veteran.
The best friend a guy could have asked for. RIP chasing pheasants in heaven Denali girl.
