I've have been spending lots of time trying to fill my late season general elk tag in this area and even more towards the coast in different units. Only seen one lone cow 3.5 miles behind a gate. Haven't seen anything on state land in this area though. I have a few more days before it ends this week to try and get a shot off. Been doin day trips from Vancouver.

Sounds about right. I’ve got a few buddies that grew up hunting the  ryderwood that haven’t seen much. It’s a waste of time.
