ISO 22/410 over under
« on: November 10, 2017, 01:29:31 PM »
hello, I'm looking for a nice older 22/410 for my dad. I went to the store and looked at the new savage and I was not impressed! I would like a wood stock older one. Let me know what you have thanks  :hello:

The gun shop/pawn outfit in Ellensburg had one in bow season.  Couldn't talk myself into buying it though.  Classic Savages seem to gain in price.  The new one does seem like a toy.

I have a chiappa 22lr/410 that bagged a few dozen grouse now. Moving to a 22lr/20ga though as 410 didn't do so well on blues on the fly. I'm all the way in Ferry county though. Double trigger, sent mine back to the factory to be polished up and a new upgraded ejector. Not older but they're sure better than that new toy savage has.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.
