YTC elk movemenrt?

been hunting the master hunter in the firing center a few times only seen 2 cows  or elk in general just got back from over there  figured was prime weather/ time  saw animals  deer the biggest buck i have ever seen in the wild so that was awesome seen old sign  maybe some fresh tracks  i thought elk  could handle snow well  seems like they on misson to get somewhere  guess just have to figure out where  seems like such awesome area for them not to hang around  any ideas/ thoughts thanks

Those elk can be here today and gone tomorrow. My advice is hunt either the southern most units or the northern most. Also the units around badger pocket
nuke the gray whales for jesus!

Had the same problem about 10 years ago.  Talked to some MP's and apparently the elk know when the Arties are shelling and when they aren't.  If they aren't, the elk will be in the impact unit where you can't go.  It's a tough place to hunt for sure!

There is a whole lot more cover there than there appears to be at first glance.  Sometimes the elk appear when you think none are around.

yea that sage looks 2-3 feet high when really like 6 plus heading back this weekend  see what i can find seems like no snow they like ghosts  couldnt tell if was there
