Harvest reporting
« on: December 18, 2017, 04:00:48 PM »
I got an email today from WDFW Licensing indicating that I had not submitted all my harvest reports. I thought I had so I called Licensing, and they confirmed I submitted all my harvest reports. I was told that I was the “first person to call who had received an email in error.”

I was also told that everyone with a big game license was called this morning, and that the calls should only have gone to those who hadn’t reported. I didn’t get a call.

So I got an email in error that only went to me, and I didn’t get a call that went in error to everyone but me.

I was playing around on the Utah fish and game website the other day. It's amazing the amount of info and useful resources on there, then you look at our beloved Wdfw who can barely get their error-filled pamphlets out before application time.  :bash:

I have reported. Didn't get a call or an email.

I haven't reported and didn't get a call.  I did get an email but when I went to the web site to report it crashed.  Maybe tomorrow.

Dear Valued Customer,

You are receiving this email because a hunter report is due for a user associated with this email.  Hunter reports are required for each deer, elk, bear, and turkey tag, as well as each special permit awarded.  Reports are required whether you harvested an animal or hunted at all.

WDFW understands that you may have already attempted to report; however, as of December 18, 2017, our records indicate that a hunter using this email address has not reported on at least one of his or her tags and/or permits.

What do you mean by "dead site?"  Are you saying the WDFW site isn't working? I just did my deer, elk, and bear reports about 1 hour ago with no issues.
