Buddy's WY Trapline
« on: December 19, 2017, 10:13:10 AM »
A buddy sent me some pics of a recent WY trapline trip.  Said it was a draw only area to trap so they had the whole place to themselves.  Looks like a cool adventure!

Does he trap for any land animals?

Nice pics

I read where you have to get written permission to trap on WY State land. There is a limit on how much you can get permission for too.
Does not sound to my liking.

Not sure if he traps land crittters or just water types?  Yes, he was running the new trap pack prototype... said he'd never run another line on foot without it again.  And I'm not sure how access is granted in WY, but he made it sounds like he had to draw for access... and yes, that would be a frustrating way to plan your trapline!

Sounded like he had a blast though... quite the adventure trapping out of the ole wall tent for a few weeks!

What brand of footholds are those?  They look like they'd grab 'em high.
