What kinda snake is this bone?

Tough one for me. I’m wondering if it’s a color phase garter snake. No stripe down his back is throwing me off though.

Yep - figured that one out this summer when we sat down on the porch for lunch and one slithered under the cushion.  I would have made a good showing at the NFL combine for vertical leap.
