all great choices , I'm kinda leaning towards Remington ...Remmy for short .
I like it.   Wife just took the Remi for our black lab.

We named our Bird dog Kimber. He's a deutsch drahthaar.
He is from Kimberly ID and I love Kimber firearms. It's a great Dog name for training and not common.  :twocents:
I think The next one will be named Leroy after Leeroy Jenkins.
Best of luck with Your new pup.

I always liked Loomis for a boy and  Sage for a girl.

Once you decide you have to come up with a full name.

Maybe...
Remington Model (Insert what dog # this is for you)

My first purebred dog was Carl.  Paper name, "Carl bag a dognuts"

My dog now is Tuff.  Paper name, "Tuff son of Blitz"  Sire's name was Blitz.

Lead em if they're running.

My son's name is Rocky.
We meet lots of dogs named Rocky then I give my son a hard time, rubbing his head and telling him, he's a good boy!

Our labs were Briquette, black female. Kekoa (warrior in Hawaiian) gold male.
Biff, black male. Smokey, black female. Duke and Duchess, black male and female. Carmal, chocolate female. Hershey, chocolate female.
Too many pups to remember all the names.

The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

two syllables

ends in a long A or long E sound

Those are supposedly the best to get the dog to listen.

Please take Cash off of the list

My advice is to live with the dog a few weeks.  In my experience, dogs name themselves after a few weeks

Hmm, mine would've been Lugnut if she didn't already have a name.
