Warne Scope Rings customer service top notch.
« on: January 16, 2018, 02:13:33 PM »
I over torqued some base screws on a set of Warne steel tactical rings and broke two screws. Called Warne today and explained they broke due to my mistake and that I needed to purchase the two that broke and a few spares seeing that I have 6 or so sets and most are on big magnums. They said no problem, they would ship today and no charge. They said it didn't matter why they broke they stand behind their product and their customers.

Great to experience that type of customer service and product support!👍

May I suggest an in.lbs torque wrench this time.  :chuckle:

I was having trouble with a scope staying put on a 338-378 I used to have and twisted off the heads of some of the screws.  It was 100% my fault but they had a new set in my mailbox practically before I could hang up the phone.

I'm getting ready to put a scope on a new little CZ 527 17 Rem and WARNE mounts is what I'm using.

I used to run a lot of warne like 10-12 sets of rings. I bought 2 new pairs and the threading pulled out of 1 screw in one set and 2 in the other. I was not happy and called them. I was even under there max torque and using a torque wrench.
They would not replace them. So I took them back to sportsmans and they took them back. I have been phasing them out now and they wont see any more of my business.

I've been using a lot of Warne rings and bases lately, and I've been very happy with them. No issues so haven't had a need to deal with customer service. Although I have emailed them a few times with questions about their products and what will work for my particular application, and they've always been prompt in responding.

After just dropping 200.00+ and having them tell me I was the one who broke them, with to much torque.
I told them how I felt about them standing behind there product :chuckle:

Did you read my original post?

I told them straight up I over torqued them. Told them it was my fault I wanted to purchase more. They declined my purchase offer and sent me the pictured package of replacements free of charge. So I don't know why it would be any different from a super gun dealer type like yourself??  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I guarantee, I can call them on Monday. Explain your dislike and destain for their services and get the same package of replacements sent. Just PM me a Address of where to ship them when they arrive. Art of the deal.😘

You did the I'm sorry I over powered it and I'll pay to fix and they sent you a 2.00 bag of screws.
I called and said I have 2 sets of rings that have problems and they didn't want to send new ones.
A problem with there product. Being a super duper gun dealer has it perks like owning a torque wrench :chuckle:

Did you ask for "Screws" or over reach for a complete ring set? 😊

Considering the screws pulled out the threading in the rings. The screws were harder then the rings  Without any thread left in the ring itself to insert a screw into. A new screw would not have done me any good. I asked for new rings. The screws were good

I would fix it for you. But since you have sworn Warne rings off and your a super dealer. Your on your own.

It's complicated, volume gets results.

Like my millionaire little brother told me. When your a little fish, you have to stay clear of the big fish. Once your the big fish, screw the little fish, they aren't worth the meal. Order in!😬

See there is the problem. Doesn't matter if you buy 1 set or 1000, volume makes no difference. They should stand behind there product

Seams your the minority when it comes to support in this thread?????

Bobcats hates me, despises me. Snivels about me(Has even banned me)and he even supports Warne's customer service!  Call Warne, don't play the big fish, you will get positive results.
